neurotype-on-discord says that Seniors could use skins without Premium?  What?  So, let's see if this posts all prettified!  Because I didn't even try when my sub expired.

Yes!!!  It worked.  I am so happy I could pee.  I had no idea there were Senior perks, I just thought it was a recognition thing.  My real happiest memory on dA was when I got Seniority.  I felt so appreciated and happy for like a year.  Now that I can skin and not worry about losing my privs...    So happy.
