The vivid contrasts of light and dark set the mood of this extremely detailed work. I could not soak up every inch of detail in this with just a single glance. The knots along the trees are the best, bringing an air of creepiness and horror to this otherwise serene scene.

I am transfixed by the delicate pen work in the folds of her clothes and shading her skin. So soft and precise.

I am curious of the symbolism of the mask and find the entire series compelling. From the trees, to her beauty and the darkness that surrounds it.

The amount of painstaking detail and the skillful technique by which this was executed is beyond amazing.
