I take lots of pictures... XD I take them in different lighting, play with white balance and exposures and angles. I love close up macro shots where half the image is out of focus. Then I made a simple Photoshop action for my pictures which is just a blur vignette. And I usually do minor adjustment to the exposure levels in Photoshop, minor correcting. If there's a bit of blurriness then unsharp mask, or if a bit of noise, I do noise reduction. I usually do a filter then fade the filter to 50%, that way every change is very subtle. I don't like to manip product photos very much or at least, not look maniped.

If it's something I want a better copy of (to make prints or something) then I do it with the scanner instead.
