Message about installed journal skinThere should be a message in Activity about the event when somebody installs one of our journal skins. Same design like at faving, collecting and badge giving.

CSS Tricks: Responsive dA?If you are at least slightly into web design and/or using mobile devices to browse, you should have come across the term "Responsive Webdesign". Basically it means that a website is set up in a way so it gives the best browsing experience no matter on what device you are viewing it.
One term that is often mentioned along with it are "Fluid Designs". This usually refers to web sites that use % instead of px values to define sizes inside the layout.
This necessary trend in web design made me think about the deviantART.com layout. Because it is a design that has been working responsive for several years! You can test this by going to any place on dA and changing your browser window. You will notice how the ratio of all elements in width remains the same no matter how wide the browser window.
Now that we know that dA is responsive, we will soon find out that there is a responsive element inside dA, which reacts in first instance to the page on dA you are and in second instance to the brows

Visual Suggestion -- Journal Previewsby `GillianIvy

As a user who makes A LOT of journal skins which are not installable, I have a wall of "Preview Unavailable" journals in my journal sidebar. when just going to write a personal journal, it becomes a hassle to find the one I'm looking for.

I would love to be able to upload a thumbnail preview image just so I can identify the skins I want to use and which ones I might want to clear out.

This is why i always keep my list down to three. Two for ecssited and my personal ones. Others i might have to install will be deleted as soon as i don't need them anymore.

But yes, this would be so extremely helpful. Would be nice if we would get the chance to add a preview one day

Hm, no idea. Haven't experienced that yet. But could be that i always used the original code without installing (when using my own) and i don't keep those of other people to check that.

Will make test with one of my test journals to see what happens.

I just installed one of your skins, added it to an old journal and removed the skin from my list. It's still applied to the journal itself.

I think it may be because I hadn't had the installed version on them or something. I think I have broken live views somewhere. Don't worry about it. I'll go through and clear out my journal sidebar eventually....
