Description
This is the mock up design, you can see it live here: [link]
This is designed as a gift for =SilverPixiGirl's use only. It depicts her artworks and imagery.
Full explanation is in the journal detailing how to use the skin. The sidebar, unfortunately, I couldn't get the hover to work properly. Apparently, I need more practice. But fortunately, I'll get some. I'm long overdue coding up a skin for my bf, which he pointed out while I was skinning this XDDDD That one I believe we will be making available publicly. I'll probably keep it more simple. As I tend to make things overly complex, and uneccesarily so.
This skin is more efficient than my past endeavors. i.e. the thumbs. Instead of needing two divs, one for border and other for thumb itself, all the user does is type in the thumb without any divs. I used .shadow-holder, .shadow instead of creating divs. It seems those two thumb formatting models are under used. I couldn't find any tutorial on them, and I know I found them somewhere. Tried digging through the tutes I've learned from before, but couldn't find it. Most likely something learned from ^ginkgografix as most of what I've learned can be attributed to her.
While you're here, look at these artstuffs:
And of course, the inspiring artwork!
An issue, in Mozilla, of all places! I could not get the moods and credits and footer to show up without just removing the sidebar, not sure why. Couldn't figure it out, so ultimately, gave up. Bleh. Boo me. Maybe you know how to fix? Still looks good without and anyone using IE will see it.
