Last night I watched the Eurovision European Song Contest 2012 and saw Loreen performing Euphoria. Loved her interpretive dance and beautiful voice. Thanks to `ginkgografix for introducing me to the show and `Thiefoworld for the links.

I was very entertained, and grabbed a screenshot of her performance to paint. I started the painting last night and finished up today, all on Livestream. [link] (there's 2 videos WIP and Finished) It's timed, so it took me 2 1/2 hours! Woohoo!

Congratulations to Loreen for winning the ESC 2012 competition, representing Sweden.

Oh gosh, this was my favorite of the Eurovision songs, and the lighting + performance was amazing. I'm probably going to try and do a speedpaint of it sometime too. : ) This looks fantastic!

Thanks! I had a lot of fun practicing with this, the lighting :D I'm really proud of this one. The thumbnail almost looks exactly like the ref photo. :happybounce: I think one of my best artisitic achievements.

Loreen has an amazing energy, it was no wonder she won.

I'm working on a Lady Gaga one for ^thelasth0pe. It's from his concert photos. I'm not a fan at all, but I want the practice and it is something he likes a lot. :nod: Also have a Gotye one still in the WIP... And a Doctor Who... I have a lot of things I need to finish....

I really admire that. I have too many unfinished digital paintings, I just gave up on. WHy? Don't know. GOt busy, lost the motivation for. Not good! I should be more like you! You are my new guru
