Designed for fourteenthstar's DA journal skin, using her signature star with wings tattooesque design as the main imagery. I studied her favorites a bit for the creation of this, and of course, did it in my own style.

She gave me the creative and artistic freedom to fully design an original journal skin for her. So I started throwing my ideas at her. I'm a very traditionally inclined artist, and I enjoy putting everything on paper. This was done with my own unique take, which is characterized with the use of metallic gel pens on dark paper and fine line details, patterns and flourishes. She requested tattoo style and grunge.

So I grungified some paper and added splashes of color to my otherwise two toned works. I have all these color gel pens that never get any use, as I tend to favor silver or gold.

I drew several star designs on scrap sized pieces of paper, which I incorporated them all into the journal skin as cut outs in a collage. The journal does not show off all the detail in this work.

If fourteenthstar would like, I will send the actual painting to her, and so long as she approves, I would like to offer prints.
