Apparently, if you complain enough at them what douches they are for not replying to you with a human, then they just quit being douches and fix their issues.

So, yell at them to be human, and then they'll act like it. The irony is, I was just setting up my Etsy to no longer accept them, as Etsy now does credit card payments. Well, to be convenient for my buyers, I'm keeping PayPal on there. But will not be applying for their stupid card any more until I have more info to validate my account

So very frustrated at PayPal right now. They absolutely refuse to have a human e-mail me! I have sent them the same request 4 times which they have failed each time to actually read and reply to, instead giving me an automated response.
Here's the problem, I have previously validated/verified my account when they did this random upgrade security thing. Fine. So, I decide to apply for the debit card so I can use my PayPal more conveniently, which it fails to mention doing this required further verification than the verification I have already provided. So they have seized my account. I cannot withdraw or use PayPal, though I can accept payments.
Now what they need from me is fairly simple, a utility bill or bank statement with my physical address on it. Easy, right? I live in my bf's father's house, which all of the bills are in either his name or Kevin's. I have a bank statement that has my P O Box address on it, which they will not accept. We live in a very small community where the Post Office only accepts mail with the PO Box. So I have pleaded with them to tell me what else I can provide. The only answer they will give me is the FAQ spiel. Without even addressing the fact that I am complaining that they are not answering me.
I will not be happy if I have to call PayPal, because I do not want to spend time through an answering service being shuffled around.
